FAMILY LIFE IMPROVEMENT IS A CO-OPERATION

The project Family Life Improvement Is a Cooperation concentrates on support and reinforcement of multidisciplinary help for socially endangered families with children aged 0-15. It responds to:

• The needs of families who have long-term psycho-social-economic difficulties that can lead to the removal of the child from the family or have already led to it. These difficulties demand a gradual and multidisciplinary solution.
• The high number of children being placed in institutional care and the long period of their stay there.
• The absence of a system approach to work with socially endangered families with children in the practices in the Capital City of Prague.
• The fact that the key principle of work on family life improvement – multidisciplinary cooperation of the professionals involved in solving the situations of the endangered families with children is insufficiently disseminated in the practices.
