THE GOOD PRACTICE EXAMPLE in the KLADNO MICROREGION

This project was an education programme intended for social workers and other workers of helping professions working with families with children who are not able to achieve social inclusion without any professional help. Multidisciplinary cooperation is an active tool of prevention of social exclusion of socially endangered families with children. The participants of this programme were creating a model of effective multidisciplinary cooperation inspired by the experience of the French colleagues from Centre Départemental de L´Enfance et de la Famille Limoges.

The realization of the aforementioned programme was a tool of creating a working system of partnership-based cooperation (support and creation of communicational strategies, support of contacts, training and application of new methods of social work and approaches to the target group of endangered clients) between the particular local institutions and NGO´s in the scope of the current legislative environment.

Education of social workers within this programme led to the enhancement of the quality of social services and to the development of human resources. It is possible to assumed that it has contributed to the reduction of the further social exclusion of socially endangered families with children and to their inclusion in the community. The created model of cooperation in the Kladno Microregion might serve as a good practice example for other regions of the Czech Republic.

The project was realized in the years 2005-2007.
